Tree Services Start Up: Do it YourSelf! *Basics*

This is exactly how I started this Tree Service company...

1. Chainsaw - For Cutting down Trees, Trimming Branches and even Stump Removal
2. 2 Cycle engine oil - preferably brand specific for your chainsaw
3. Chainsaw Chain - Call your local Lawn & Garden Retail Shops to obtain the size
4. Cheap rope - Use this to tie, from your belt loop to the saw (any type of knot is ok)
5. Ladder - I had a 20 footer; use this to get up in the tree
6. Basic understanding of a pie or cheese cut - this is how almost all cuts are performed; first cut out a pie shape or cheese shape in the tree, limb, branch and then finish the cut from the back. This guides the tree, branch or limb to the correct drop spot. Use angles with your pie or cheese cut, for more advanced guidance and felling options.
7. Gas - Your 2 cycle engine oil is mixed with this gas for the chainsaw
8. Oil - This is for your chainsaw chain. Tree Service Companies just use engine oil 10W-40 or 10W-30
9. Read the manual for the chainsaw on how to cut wood and for safety precautions.

That's it you have everything I had when I started!
I didn't even have a car!
